eSCM-SPSM – Roadmap for Successful Sourcing
The eSourcing Capability Model for Service Providers (eSCM-SP) was developed by the IT Services Qualification Center (ITsqc) at Carnegie Mellon University. This is a “best practices” model that provides a framework for the sourcing service providers to manage risks and improve their service capabilities across the sourcing lifecycle.
eSCM-SP provides a three dimensional model. These dimensions include: sourcing lifecycle, capability areas and capability levels. The following diagram illustrates this three dimensional model. For more information on the model, please visit
UL DQS Inc. is one of only a few organizations authorized by the ITsqc to provide evaluation and training services.
